Covid Dance Guidelines - Updated towards the end of 2023
The dance group is very conscious of the need to protect our dancers from any risks associated with Covid-19 pandemic and other infectious viruses.
The situation has improved radically since the early days of the pandemic, although we do need to be aware of any new strains of the virus.
Our approach at the moment is to monitor the situation and to encourage good practice in terms of distancing. Holding hands and wearing masks remain personal decisions.
The situation of course is still subject to change, so please check your PID news emails and keep up to date with reputable sources of information.
The Following are the old Covid Dance Guidelines - from the end of April
The following is an update to our restrictions and processes for the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as at 29 April 2022.
The key changes are based on the relaxed State Government restrictions on 29 April and on advice from the WA Covid Health Line that our sessions qualify as 'exercise' .
The situation of course is still subject to change, so please check your PID news emails and keep up to date with the information on the
WA Government Health Covid site, although some of this is quite old.
and
Performance and contradance sessions remain stalled at this time.
